OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!~About this game, and how I made it:I am extremely proud of this game, I pushed myself extremely hard to see what I could create. This is a sequel to the "Slugs VS Spiders" trilogy, again, starring the SLUG as the main character of this game! I plan on updating this game a ton, so get ready for that. I'm currently not revealing too about future updates!~Thank you for playing Slugger! It means a lot. I recommend downloading the "Slugger SETUP.exe" file if you want it to load faster and want the game to be easily accessible on your computer, however note that you will have to go through the setup wizard first. Otherwise, if you simply are just playing my game and don't think you'll ever play again, I recommend playing in your browser using the HTML file, although it will take a decent amount of time to load - probably 5-10 minutes.~This game is mainly only supported on PC and some types of Chromebooks. Interesting concept, I like the rotation mechanic. But I think the game needs some more mechanics, like some sort of timing system. It could also do with some better use feedback, because nothing is really satisfying and the game gets boring quite easily. Building on that, I know it's a puzzle game, but the second level is a massive step up in difficulty from the first, so hard that I got stuck on it for five minutes and quit. I think you should make the learning curve more gradual and gradually increase the difficulty. Also, the tutorial or tips or whatever you want to call them, have a lot of unnecessary information that makes it very wordy and annoying to read. For example, in one tip at the end it said "If you press both the left arrow and the right arrow at once, it will pick a random direction to rotate.". This is very unnecessary and isn't needed. Simply removing things like this would make the game better. As well as this, I would also suggest trying to visually represent some tips instead of saying them in words, because it makes it much easier for the user to take in information.
2 weeks agoThank you so much for the feedback, this is the best feedback I've got. I'm currently working on a new update, so hopefully I can fix as many of the things that you've mentioned as I can. Sorry if I sound annoying, but would you mind just telling me what you mean by "the art is hard to follow, there's only 2 colours and some particles and glow that makes things hard to understand whats going on." What do you mean there's only 2 colours?
