Trap Ball

by

Dodge the traps and make it to the end of the level! This is a very simple platformer where you can only move left and right, the jump action is done automatically every time you touch the ground.   Controls:   

  • PC: Use the A and D keys to move left and right. Also you can move with the arrow keys.
  • Android: Use the left and right arrow that appear on the screen to move.

Hey thanks so much for playing and for the feedback, I watched the video don't delete it. Glad you liked the game.

Still in alpha version, some things will improve in the future. Also the difficulty has to be adjusted, you playthrought will help me to adjust some parts of the maps.

Ngl tho, This has a lot of potential to be a great game. If you were to improve the game graphics, and overall spice it up a lil more this has the potential to be extremely fun!

Thanks for your answer and feedback. Don't worry about game graphics this is still an early version and new graphics are on his way. The interface will be all new with nioce buttons and there will be a different background for each world. Also some traps will be changed.

Animation Tutorial/Learning Curve
It's realy a good game, maybe you should remove some checkpoint so the game could became a sort of "Trial and error" game.

Thanks fot your feedback! It's really appreciated. What do you mean with "trial and error"? I think that the fact that there is abundant checkpoints favours the trial and error mechanic as the player don't fear die as he spawns near of the dead zone.

Graphics to improve, I mean there are single ones that are quite good, but they just don't work together. It looks like you downloaded some assets from different sources and glued them into one game.

Game has no selling point. If you look forward to getting thousands of downloads or even selling a game, plz don't expect much from this one. Look how good was Super Meat Boy, that should be your goal for next projects. Burry it, start another project and never stop learning. good luck and dont feel ofended - it is an honest opinion, which you should always be looking for :)

Thanks for your anser, it's really appreciated. Most of the graphics are open source taken from various sources, some of them are definitive and some will be replaced as my designer is doing them right now for me. So this point will definetly improve on game launch.

As for the game having no selling point I know, in fact it's a free game which my aim it's not to sell. My aim is show my piece of art work to the world and hopefully some people have some enjoyable moment playing it that's all. Also I am using this project as a source for learning the GODOT engine and marketing skills.

But don't worry about offenses or that kind of stuff I have a mature head and embrace criticism as a good thing ;)

Glad you liked it. Which is your game store? The ghame it's still unfinished, as I am updating graphics and polishing some things.

Once the game is finished, with the final assets and some more testing I guess it's fine to put it in your store :).
