Blockets

by

Blockets is a retro-themed arcade puzzle, that can be played in the browser. 

The goal is to place blocks in the grid and fill lines and columns. Complete lines to get score points and energy. Achieving combos will grant additional score and energy!

Watch out for the count-down timer! If it expires before completing a line, an obstacle will be created. But do not fret! You can use energy to remove the obstacle - simply click on it!

The game will automatically submit the high-score if you're logged in. Can you beat my high-score? :)

It's a great game, but it needs to have incentives, such as levels, or bigger obstacles.

as you progress, more complicated shapes will appear (5-piece blocks). i'll consider adding a hard mode, where you'll get right from the start 5- and 6- piece blocks, for players that want a challenge.

Game Graphics
Nice game, but I think it needs more sense of urgency - the timer is really slow on the beginning, energy points are acquired too easy - expecially on the beginning. There is also no losing - when the blocks are too big to fit anywhere the player needs to wait for gray blocks to fill the spaces ( which are only one piece so it takes forever), or simply abandon the game. Maybe add some "Game
Over"?

Mechanics
The game is fun to play. Graphics and sounds are good, definitely a good fit for a puzzle game like this. It could be a bit faster and start giving the more complicated blocks sooner.

How is the game supposed to end? I played for quite some time and eventually got to a point where none of my blocks fit anywhere but the game just kept on going.

Room To Grow started out as a competition between my friend and I, but escalated into a simple interesting puzzleish game.  You start out extremely zoomed in and on level 1, with 0 points and 300 health. Your goal is to get the required score for the level and move on, but along the way you will need to attempt to collect zoomer orbs; purple orbs that zoom out the camera slightly.  Currently I update the game ever 2~3 days, and with each updates usually comes a new level.     
Shabda

Shabda is an early prototype of a upcoming game that relies completely on spatial 3d(binaural) sound for navigation. There is a difference between 3d audio and spatial(binaural audio). Binaural audio uses special sounds to trick your brain to position sounds in 3d space as if they were real. With that, you can actually understand how close, far, up or down something is in relation to your head. A first prototype demo is also available with a simple demonstration of game mechanics. In order to run and play it with spatial sound, you need to enable HRTF in your sound system. Please note that without HRTF enabled, it will be close to impossible to play Shabda, as the sounds will just be regular stereo.

The plot tells about the - One unfortunate day of the life ordinary directors of a small firm, full of mysticism, conspiracies, cults and the end of the world. Funny and crazy and twisted storyline will make you remember the point and click adventure in which you play as a child. During the passage you will meet fun and interesting characters who amuse you and hint how to get some of the tasks.
