Game Graphics Mechanics

This is a well put together game! The graphics, sound and feel of the game are all spot on. I think having to create an account to play might put some people off. Maybe you could let them play a free mode or something? Also at the end of every level it comes up with a menu. You could have it automatically move on to the next one after a few seconds. Also the area where it says touch to continue is a bit small.

Mechanics Tutorial/Learning Curve

Nice idea for a game and works quite well. It takes a while to understand the game and that might put some people off. The UI could do with a bit of work on the title screen. Otherwise nice game!

Hi there, this is a really cool idea for a game. You have done a nice job on it and everything works well. I would say the UI needs improving, especially on the title screen. Also when the balls hit the laser i think there should be some sort of reaction. Maybe an effect like they have for explosions in geometry wars. I think it would improve the feel of the game. Other than that tho this is pretty sweet.

I think you should check out the most popular puzzle games on the app store/play store and try get some ideas from them. Especially the ones with nice UI. Try and keep the UI consistent throughout the game. If you check out videos of geometry wars 3 I think that style of UI would suit your game.

Hi there, i've played the new version and the UI is looking pretty good. I think the yellow and orange works well. I think the purple-y colour might be too much. Not sure tho! I think when the balls hit the laser they should explode if they are the right colour. Not if they are the wrong colour. Anyway i'm waffling. Nice updates so far!

Thanks for playing my game! I think you are right about the goal of the game being a bit vague. I guess i was going for a crossy road style - get as far as you can - kinda thing, but i think it needs more work. I was worried the holes in the ground might not be distinct enough, thanks for letting me know. I think i'll put in a bit more work into when the robot dies, it's a bit lazy at the minute.

Yeah I was trying to have more freedom of movement than crossy road. I tried putting the coin/time pickups to give incentive to explore but it doesn't quite work. You're right it is more suited to exploration style gameplay. I will have to rethink the mechanics of the game for a while. Anyway I am downloading your game now and i'll give some feedback soon

Hi there, i've played your game for a bit and i really like it. The presentation and style of the game is perfect. I love the grainy film effect and the way the piano slams when you hit something. Music fits perfectly too. I do have some trouble with the tilt controls (i'm using a samsung a5 here), but i never like tilt controls anyway. Like if there is one girder after another i'm swinging the phone around like a loon, haha. I would probably prefer a touch panel at the bottom of the screen to move the robot but thats just me. I would say make the first level a little bit easier just to get people into it. Also i think you should call the game dapperbot but thats trivial really. Anyway looks good so far

The controls kind of feel like a mix of both too sensitive/not enough. Its like the the tilt is making the robot accelerate instead of consistent speed. I dislike tilt controls in general. The trouble is you are moving the screen around and it makes it hard to focus. Some 3DS games I have use it and I always find it tricky. You could just have the bottom part of the screen split into left and right. The player could touch the bottom left or right side of the screen to move.

Thanks for playing my game anyway! I didn't wan't to have too much tutorial in the game because I feel too many games do that and don't just let you figure it out. I guess the graphics need some work because that is a common complaint. The option to watch an ad was meant for people who want to continue their high score, you can always just end game and press play again instead.
I do need to explain better what the objective of the game is. The main objective is to collect as many spare parts (yellow cogs) and deliver them to the rocket. You get 10 points for every part delivered and a bonus for delivering at least one part. I have been thinking how to make this better, will probably change in the next update (if there is one).
There game is procedurally generated so there aren't really levels, it was meant to be more like a high score arcade game. Anyway thanks again for checking out my game, i know its shite but it did take a long time to make so at least someone has played it.

Hi,
This is a pretty cool idea for a game, reminds me a bit of F-Zero or Wipeout. The ship design, music and presentation are quite good. I think the game has a good sense of speed and i like the extra little features like being able to change the ships colours. The main problem I have is the controls, although this could be because my phone doesn't have a gyroscope. I find it hard to steer and focus because I am tilting the screen so much.
The track design could be more interesting, there isn't really any scenery or obstacles. Maybe you could have a track that goes underwater or one that runs through a city. I understand that might take too long to make tho. I like the idea of targeting the other racers and shooting them to slow them down. Maybe there could be more power ups and counter attacks.

Game Graphics Mechanics

The art for this game is fantastic and so is the UI and presentation. The controls work perfectly too. The one thing that could improve the game would be the ability to drop in thing's like fences, distractors, mines, and other defensive items.

Game Graphics Tutorial/Learning Curve

Really good job on the graphics and presentation in this. Top stuff. Sounds and background music fit well too. The idea for the game is also really good, perfect for mobile games. The only thing that i would change would be the difficulty. It could start out a bit easier and build up from there. Other than that though great game!

Thanks very much for the feedback. The colours are quite neutral at the beginning but it gets more colourful further on. Alltough at the minute it might be too difficult to get there. I tried some of those planet hopper games but they control much different to my game. Is there any i should have a look at? Thanks again for the feedback, I will have a go of your game now.

Game Graphics Controls

The graphics are really well done. Reminds me a little bit of tricky towers. The characters and backgrounds all look great. The music and sound effects fit in nicely too. Lots of nice touches like the ghost effect when you die. The main problem I am having is the controls. Sometimes it wont register presses, so the character falls all the way back down. My phone is a samsung galaxy A5 so that could be the problem.

Mechanics UI Graphics

This is a great little game! The design is really simple but it works really well, perfect for a mobile game. I like how the ship controls and how tricky the game can get when trying to get around a level. The only thing I think holding the game back is the graphics. I think the UI and other elements are a bit inconsistent. Maybe someone who does graphic design could give you some advice. I think the rest of the game is brilliant tho and i'll be keeping it on my phone to play it.

Thanks for checking out my game! I think you have made some good points here and I hope to fix some of them soon. I think it doesn't feel like its in space because the rocket falls instead of just floating off. I'll have to think about that one. I will be adding a timer and checkpoints to urge the player forward. I'm not sure what the flickering movement is. Can you see it in the vid I posted? Not sure why ads are cutting off like that.
Do you have a game you would like me to roast? Anyways thanks very much, i'll try and fix some of those problems
