In Spellcaster, you play as the mighty and powerful spellcaster - a magic wielding warrior known around the world for their thrilling monster-fighting adventures. There's just one catch - Spellcaster is set in a fantasy world without the supernatural. Magic is no more than clever slight of hand, and monsters are costumed foes.

Spellcaster features lightning-fast combat with an innovative attack system. You have access to four different trick types that you can perform, each of which can be loaded with one of several different elements to achieve unique effects and powerful results. Mix and match on the fly to dazzle enemies with your seemingly magical abilities and dominate the battelfield!

Mechanics UI Graphics
The game mechanics feel very tactile and responsive, and there's a reasonable amount of scope for many 'tricks'. I enjoyed it!

However I'd say the presentation does need work. While I think the graphics are unique, they just didn't quite gel with me.

I think the GUI elements aren't distinct or big enough to see changes in my peripheral vision, and the "notes" or "messages" hanging from the right side of the screen didn't feel obvious that they required attention, as it took me a few seconds of clicking to figure out why I couldn't progress.

All of these criticisms are aimed at the presentation layer, which is obviously going to be the case if this is still in development, but great job and I look forward to seeing how this develops.

The game is really cool.Mechanics are responsive and you can aim for tricks.
But the messages on the right of the screen aren't really visible. This will surely change during the development to prevent this default.
But great job guys.

The core mechanics are there but in my opinion ammo goes out too fast, and the character moves way too slowly that is my only complaint in that regard. The graphics are not bad but are not pleasing to me either. They are consistent and they work.
As for Ui, as pointed by other comments, them being int the right of the screen does not help at all. Aside from that sometimes the tutorials do not make things as clear as they are.
To end, i dont feel like pressing space after reading some character's thoughts works too well. Maybe some kind of cinematic would be better
