Inkbit DEMO

NOTE : This is a DEMO and features only five levels, the real game will have a lot more content, more traps, objects and surprises. This demo introduces only a few of those. 

Please take note that textures, sounds, music and some interactions may change later on. Your feedback is more than welcome, and please do notify me of any bugs or other oddities that may occur. This is my first real game project so any comments, positive or negative will be helpful.

 About :

Inkbit is a 1-bit puzzle game, inspired by classics like Zelda. You control Inkie, one of the octopus-like creatures which use their ink to control the elements. Use fire to light the fuses, rocks to crush obstacles, wind to push barrels and water to set off flames on your path . It's up to you to get back your kingdom's stolen treasure!

Gameplay :

The levels are filled with traps, levers, buttons and pressure plates, master the elements and interact with your environment to get past your obstacles. 

Try out different techniques to get through the levels, there usually is more than one solution to get to the goal.

Challenge yourself and try to get all the treasures!

Level Design Controls
I really liked the game! The two colored aestethics and the music work excelently. Also the level design and the mechanics are really cool. I would definitely change the movement controls for the arow keys though. Doing everything with my left hand felt a little unintuitive. Also not being able to navigate the menus with the arrow keys felt weird. Great game overall, would definetly play the full version when its out!

Thanks for playing and roasting! I'll change the controls, so that people could play either with WASD or the arrow keys, and also put that to the menus as well. I'll probably add ENTER button to work on the menus too. I've been also thinking about adding controller support, but need to try it out first to see how it fits. Thanks again for the feedback, and I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the game, that really means alot to me!

Room To Grow

Room To Grow started out as a competition between my friend and I, but escalated into a simple interesting puzzleish game.  You start out extremely zoomed in and on level 1, with 0 points and 300 health. Your goal is to get the required score for the level and move on, but along the way you will need to attempt to collect zoomer orbs; purple orbs that zoom out the camera slightly.  Currently I update the game ever 2~3 days, and with each updates usually comes a new level.     
Shabda

Shabda is an early prototype of a upcoming game that relies completely on spatial 3d(binaural) sound for navigation. There is a difference between 3d audio and spatial(binaural audio). Binaural audio uses special sounds to trick your brain to position sounds in 3d space as if they were real. With that, you can actually understand how close, far, up or down something is in relation to your head. A first prototype demo is also available with a simple demonstration of game mechanics. In order to run and play it with spatial sound, you need to enable HRTF in your sound system. Please note that without HRTF enabled, it will be close to impossible to play Shabda, as the sounds will just be regular stereo.

RePete features four worlds, each introducing new gameplay elements, with over 60 challenging levels to test your ability to work with yourself. The plot tells about the - One unfortunate day of the life ordinary directors of a small firm, full of mysticism, conspiracies, cults and the end of the world. Funny and crazy and twisted storyline will make you remember the point and click adventure in which you play as a child. During the passage you will meet fun and interesting characters who amuse you and hint how to get some of the tasks.
