Game Graphics Tutorial/Learning Curve

* While the controls for this game were explained under the itch.io game window I would have preferred learning this through in-game tutorials so I don't feel like "I missed out on important information because I was impatient and really wanted to play the game".
* It was a slight turn-off that this game took a while to load. I prefer games that load in under 1 minute.
* After this game loaded I wasn't sure why I couldn't select the "Shooter" character so I selected "Assassin".
* Once I entered the game, I felt instantly lost. I would've liked some tutorial to explain what is my goal in this game world. Am I working towards defeating an evil character? Why would I play this game if I have no idea why I'm in this game world or what to work towards?

You're welcome. I kind of enjoying giving feedback.

Personally I'd prefer to play web browser games instead of downloading and installing (because it's easier for me), even if the loading is a bit longer.

You don't have to but would you be willing to roast my game? I'm trying to gather feedback on whether people would like my game developed.

Thanks. If you update this Myopic Microcosm game in the future and there's an easy way of me for me to know, I'll be willing to play it again and share my feedback.

Game Graphics Tutorial/Learning Curve

The opening menu saying "Abilities" was a bit scary and I would've preferred a gameplay tutorial that taught me the value of "Abilities" so I can decide how to use them.
The game also doesn't teach itself very well. Possibly more tutorials rather than constantly dying at the beginning.
This game seems like it would be exhausting for me after 5 minutes straight of playing and I suggest adding in "breaks" for the player.
When I crash through the pale yellow blocks at the beginning, it's annoying that the broken pieces briefly block my vision of what's ahead which would make me feel like this caused me to lose at that point in time if I did die.

You're welcome, and I kind of enjoy giving feedback.
When I say "breaks" I mean regular relief from non-stop concentration of playing the cube and dodging obstacles. For example, have a checkpoint every 10 seconds that pauses/slows the game for 5 seconds before it goes back to normal.
Fair enough if you don't want to teach your game abilities but in my case, I never used them because there was no easy way to learn about them. For players like me, the abilities might as well have not been in the game. If abilities are fun and valuable to the player, the game designer should communicate this really well.

Tutorial/Learning Curve

- I disliked starting this game in immediate danger. There was no tutorial for me to learn the controls or way for me to tell this game "I'm not ready to engage in the action yet"
- After about 2 minutes of playing and dying, I got bored because I felt there wasn't enough variety to this game. I felt like I experienced all this game had to offer in the first 30 seconds. This isn't asking for more challenge/difficulty but just anything to keep me interested, for example a story progression.
- The background art looks kinda nice but it's hard to appreciate when I'm constantly running for my life in this game

Game Graphics Tutorial/Learning Curve

- This game looks quite nice, everything animates well, and I like the colours used
- I feel this game shouldn't immediately start the player in danger but have some tutorial to teach us the basic controls and what are typical dangers that we should avoid
- This isn't my kind of game because "endless runner" means I could be spending way more time on this game when I'd like to do other activities. For busy people, I recommend breaking up this game into smaller (for example 5 minute) segments and allow the player to save their progress so if they want to achieve record breaking high scores, this game would be more friendly for us and each new segment just adds to our "last completed time"
