King's Garden

A pixel art platformer, using modern graphic techniques. This is very early in development, and was recently merged with The Eternal Abyss (One of my other projects, I didn't have time to work on both).

Chicken Coup

Chicken Coup is a run and gun platformer about a chicken trying to overthrow the government after seeing a chicken slaughterhouse.  Early in development, I haven't gotten to making a full level, so there is one very short one.Controls:Arrow keys to move and space to shoot. Press R to restart!

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't explain the controls so you may not know of the sprint button (Shift). The sprinting button is a supposed to be a core mechanic in my game unlike games like Mario which it is mostly just optional. Thanks again!

You're right! The light is going to be attached to torches and fires at the end of the game, but I haven't made them yet so I attached it to the player.

Yea I know what you mean, but this is just a test level. When it is released this will not be in it, and no level will have the design flaws of this level.

Thanks! I've gotten a lot of reviews today saying pretty much exactly what you said. So the version that comes out next week will have very fast acceleration and deceleration as well as more frictions while jumping for more control. Thanks for the feedback and I'm always looking for ways to make this game the best it can be.

The assets may look familiar because they are CC0 assets from open game art. The controls are pretty bad in this update but I'm believe I have fixed it in my newer version. Also the design issues will not be issued once some of the main mechanics are implemented. (The character has the power to stop time to solve puzzles). Thanks for leaving feedback!

I'm a little confused. The game is already animated, what do u mean make some animations? Right now the game is unforgiving, but this is because the main character will be able to freeze time in future versions (one of the main mechanics of this game). There will be a UI eventually, but I haven't gotten around to it. The enemies commiting suicide is intentional, they will be used to get around things. For example, there may be a cliff too high for you too jump and an enemy at the top. So the enemy jumps off and you freeze time when it is halfway down and use it to bounce into the big cliff. Thanks so much for the feedback, I'm always looking forward to make this game better!
