BEAM

BEAM is an arcade puzzler. Think Space Invaders that ate Tetris, with Lasers. Puzzle Heads are invading with their light mazes. Fortunately you are equipped with an amazing combination of mirrors and the beam. Reflect the BEAM to find the Puzzle Head's weak spots. Your lives are also mirrors, but use them wisely.Level 15 and up still need a lot of work. I know this. It is not finished yet.

We are two first year university games design students, this game was based upon the Survival Shooter assets from the Unity store as part of an assignment.This game represents a creepy journey reminiscient of an acid trip of a small fellow trying to escape a laboratory aiming to create genetic perfection.Game has a somewhat lengthy load time on clicking Begin but the game will load eventually. We hope you enjoy our work in progress video game.KNOWN ISSUES- Game has no victory screen if you win, game just remains static. We are aware.- Broken navigation on far right of map of main level.- Two spawn points are broken on main level.- Sometimes the gates won't work. DEUL

Are you fast enough for DEUL? DEUL is a fast paced action packed shooting game that will test your reflexes, accuracy and timing. Try to out-draw opponents across the world as you duel your way through China, London, Russia and Brazil. Each victory will earn you points and increase your score, get a higher score to climb up our leaderboards. Sometimes, in between these duels, you'll be thrown into bonus level where you have to shoot bottles as they're hurled towards you. Are you doing well? Winning? Keep playing! The game will get harder as you progress and sooner or later you will find an enemy who is quicker than you. Continue to level up in to unlock new ways in which to win your duels. You can also battle it out in style as your character get new outfits and accessories as you get further in the game. SHARE YOUR DEULSWe've now integrated Everyplay which allows you to record and share your DEULS via our game hub, Facebook & Twitter! Watch, share and compare your funniest moments! COMPETITIONThroughout 2016 every month the player with the highest score in the game will receive a signed limited edition artwork. All you need to do is play the game, using your registered account. The aim of the game is to collect all the red squares in an effort to achieve 100% completion. You are forced to keep moving or else you will be overcome by the monsters that are chasing you! You also have no gun. Your only defense is to run and light the way with your torch. Collect the boxes as fast as you can and learn the map as it will throw you around!Acheiving 100% is a win, but be careful. It is harder than you think. Feedback is greatly appreciated. Escape From Hell is a fast paced action shooter with horror elements. You will shoot your way through the depths of hell battling demons and encountering various obstacles in your path. Kill enemies to score points which will open gates and BEWARE THE REAPER!We are university students and this game was built as a project from a modified 'Survival Shooter.'Any comments and feedback are welcome!

Cornered

Cornered is a recreation to the atmosphere and mechanics of ‘Survival Shooter.’ As the player, you must open the gate to the end of each maze by collecting mysterious pills. The way ahead features many enemies, and perhaps even a potential ally. Remember, only touch the hedge statue when you think you’re ready. You’ll know it when you see it. The original game already featured elements that incorporated nightmarish elements; the aim was to expand on the theme by trapping the player. We are two first year University students, and this is one of our first game creations as part of a project – feedback is more than welcome. Survival Spacer (WIP)

Survival Spacer is an in-development game created by two students for a Games Design Course. Based off the Unity tutorial “Survival Shooter” players are tasked to collect crates, explore alien worlds and kill space critters. Be wary of the deadly space storm though and return to you space ship before it hits.This was our first of many digital games that we are going to create so it’s not perfect and there are a lot of known bugs and errors. The purpose of this upload wasn't to show a complete game but to receive some constructive criticism in order to improve our design and Unity skills. LASR

Do you remember how to to mix colors? Show your color mixing skills in this fast-paced arcade game which will give your reflexes and brain a truly hard challenge. Let the falling blocks pass the laser by having the laser output the same color as the block. Switching the color on the laser is accomplished by turning on and off the three buttons. Should you fail match the color of the block, it will be vaporized and you will lose a life, reducing the strength of your laser. The laser will regain strength with every block you manage to score. Simply swipe the laser left and right while it's strength is reduced to move it. There are 12 different speed levels in the game, ranging from very easy to extremely hard. To unlock new speed levels you have to collect a certain amount of blocks in a single game. You can then choose to start at a higher level to avoid having to go through the lower levels each time. All score and coin gains are multiplied by the respective level number, which means that playing on a higher level will give you a higher score and more coins. Compete with your people all over the world on the global leaderboard and try to unlock all the achievements. Spend your hard-earned coins in the shop to unlock different models for the falling blocks. There are two different controls to choose between. Either you tap buttons to turn them on and then tap on them again to turn them off. Or you can choose the hold mode, where the buttons will be switched on whenever you hold your finger on them. You can also switch between three different color mixing models, namely RYB, RGB and CMY.

Mr Shaigai

We're just starting a new game. It's called Mr Shaigai and its about the main character (red), being stuck at university and wanting to go home. The game will be his journey across dangerous lands to find his way back to his family. He'll start off as a very shy character that isn't very powerful (and will have a different face and colour to reflect his mood) but over the course of the game will grow more confident and stronger! I'm wondering what you think of his design, and if there's anything I should work on, or any other things you can think of! Also note that the background isn't mine, I'm using it as a placeholder right now until I design something specific for the game.
