I played Math and Magic. So the concept and title are the least appealing things I think kids have ever seen. Having said that, once you start playing and get into it, it's a nice distraction while you wait for your flight or whatever. This is what mobile games are for. The graphics are borderline good. The ads are an eyesore but they don't prevent me from playing the game which is surprisingly common.

I give this game a 6/10 in the "Math Games" category, and a 2/10 in the "Overall Games" category. Next time I would suggest starting with a fun idea and then going from there. Try to think of some way to make your game unique, whether its gameplay, look, something.

For a math quiz game, it works up to a point: the reward of defeating enemies is a good way to get kids practicing math. I agree with everything Penguin Pat Hologram had to say, though. The UI has a nice (this seems to be a trend) "Windwaker" feel that is warm, bright, and attractive. Unfortunately, the game gets way too samey and there's no real sense of belonging to a story or progression. It's maybe a little too "lite". Also, the title desperately needs to be changed. Like Pat says, it's a real turn-off.

The game is brilliant but after awhile the story gets to boring after a few hours of play. It seems similar to other games in the same genre. You guys should buckle down and make the game unique.

Game is nice, I really like the graphic style which fits well with kids universe.
The main problem, is that it's really boring to answer additions and other maths simple problems one after another ... I understand that it's the point of the game, to help kids improve at calculus but it's very linear, it could be better if there were 2 modes, and calculus problems could come out as 'special' fights unlocking special abilities then kids would enjoy it because of it's preciousness.

I am really curious about how well will it does on the market though.
Good luck

For starters, I like the concept of the game. Answering math questions to have your character perform some action in the game could be an interesting way to get children to want to do math. The game is visually pleasing as well. I have to agree with some of the other commenters about the name of the game. Having the word "math" is probably a turn off for most children. Also, I wish there was a little more of a story to go along with what the character is doing. You are using magic to defeat the bad guys, but you are not really progressing in the game towards anything. Overall, I think the game has a lot of good qualities. Good luck.

Seems like quite a good idea to get children learning maths in school. I'd say this has a low chance of being downloaded in its current form, the name needs to change as well as improving the story. Have you considered going to schools and seeing if they'll take it on as part of their program? Having children downloading it because its actually homework would make the learning experience so much more fun. At least for me it would have when I was younger. Obviously I'm aware not everyone can afford to give their children these handsets, but if the parents agree with this game being implemented you could have a real winner on your hands!

Game Graphics Tutorial/Learning Curve
It is a very fun game, I could see it being used to learn kids math. But the difficulty is maybe a little hard in the beginning. Got myself stuck a lot of times at 29 math problems right. But that could be just me.

The graphics and sound effects are really good, they give it a fun feeling.

What I really dislike is that there is an ad while playing the game that obstructs the '0' button for a bit. I didn't click it by accident, but I could imagine that it could happen and that it would be frustrating when you're on a streak.
